The CJM billet hat is a must-have upgrade for the original plastic 370Z/G37 fuel pump module. The flimsy factory piece is prone to structural failure—even in unmodified vehicles—and its connector is notorious for melting under the load of upgraded pumps. Machined from billet aluminum, our hat transforms the fuel pump module into a rigid, reliable assembly you can have confidence in.

The included 6-position electrical bulkhead connector kit is rated at 40A, eliminating the risk of melted connectors with high-output pumps. It features internal and external disconnects and supports up to 12AWG wiring (10AWG with professional crimping). Two sizes of crimp terminals are supplied (6 for pump wiring, 8 for sensor wiring). New stainless hardware for securing the hat to the fuel tank is also included.

The OEM stainless posts, once removed from the original hat, are secured into the billet hat with stainless set screws. These screws clamp beneath a ledge on each post, ensuring they cannot be pulled out.

For plumbing connections, the hat provides three 6AN ORB bulkhead ports. The installation kit includes a swivel bulkhead with quick-disconnect adapter for a plug-and-play hose connection, along with two plugs for unused ports. A new hose with clamps is supplied to connect the in-tank fuel filter outlet to the bottom of the bulkhead.Description

    • 370Z: All models.

    • G37: Compatible with G37 models equipped with the 370Z-style fuel-pump module. Some early model-year G37s used the 350Z pump module; this kit will not fit those. Consider our Z34 Retrofit Package to convert your early G37 to the newer 370Z-style module. If you’re unsure which module you have, email us your VIN and we’ll confirm.

    • Important: Fits only OEM/Nissan factory fuel pump modules (and genuine-equivalent OEM replacements). Aftermarket assemblies (Amazon/eBay/AliExpress, etc.) are constructed differently and are not compatible.

    • Standalone Upgrade – This billet hat can be integrated into any fuel system configuration.

    • Complete Kit – No additional parts are required to install it on a stock fuel system.

    • Basic Skills Needed – Installers should be comfortable with simple wiring and crimping terminals.

    • Return Systems – If installing with a return-style fuel system, the optional Return Fuel Bulkhead is required.

    • Tools – Ear-clamp pliers are required for the pump hose installation. They’re inexpensive and easy to use, but not always found in a typical DIY toolbox.

    • Crimping Terminals – The included terminals can be crimped with basic open-barrel crimp tools.
